Jen works in the biomechanics field and has a research focus on human dexterity. The work covers human movement analysis, characterisation and the definition of quantitative methods for the assessment of individual ability. Using both experimental and analytical models the work has been developing the sensitivity analysis of factors governing the overall behaviour, as well as how this can be applied into the clinical field.
