Daniel completed his MEng in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London in 2012, after which he worked in industry on electro-mechanical instruments for downhole pipe inspection and machining. He began his PhD at the University of Sheffield in 2015. His research is on the modelling of Self-Piercing Riveting systems.
