Skystream turbine blades

These are small (just under 2m) composite turbine blades that are used for SHM experiments. Initially, 9 nominally identical blades were purchased. Up to now, the blades have been used in order to experimentally validate various SHM studies, both vibration-based and ultrasonic wave-based. One of the blades has been professionally scanned so that the geometry is known to a high accuracy (both internal and external) and this has been used in order to develop a finite element model of the blades which can be used for model-based SHM or for validation and verification.
